Greetings in the name of the Lord, This is Pastor Jesse Hernandez with Living Word Interdenominational Church. I would like to talk to you about a great need in our community. There is a need to feed, clothe and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to the homeless of downtown San Antonio. This is my invitation to you the church to make a difference in the lives of these individuals and families. We are blessed in this opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, feeding both body and soul. This Christ centered gathering allows us to give to those less fortunate, on Sunday afternoons starting at 1pm. Also a most exciting things is that in a spirit of unity Living Word Church partners with three other churches so that together we can accomplish this work. We believe that churches should work together to make a difference in our community, not compete with one another. Because of this teaming up and working hand in hand with one another a new ministry was founded that we want to invite you to be a part of. "Partners for Christ" represents four churches and everyone else that wants to help in feeding and ministering to the Homeless of downtown San Antonio. This way in the spirit of unity no one church's name is given over the other, but we all together accomplish this task! We also have teamed up with Daily Bread Ministries in utilizing their facilities and organizational skills in providing food, clothing and support for the less fortunate.
