WHAT IS THE CHURCH SCRIPTURE? Hebrews 4:12 - For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. 13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
What are Living word Interdenominational Church services like? Church should be more than just a enjoyable experience, so we strive for our services to be centered solely on obtaining the Presence of God. We want everyone who visits Living Word to leave first comforted by the presence of our Holy Father and secondly empowered thru solid biblical teaching. It’s a time to soak in the Presence of God and learn truths from God’s Word. Leaving different than the way you walk in is our goal.
What kind of music can I expect at Living Word Church ? We play a wide variety of contemporary praise and worship. Sundays are an upbeat time of celebration and sincere worship, so our music reflects these aspects of worship. We are working on incorporating banners and flags to wave to the Lord in worship. You can expect a blowing of the shofar as well as we strive to worship the Lord with all of our might! Please see the new worship page to get a better understanding in what we believe. We are currently looking for assistance in the music ministry. We need everything from worship leaders, musicians and back up singers, if God has gifted you in this area we want to talk to you about an opportunity to use your God given talents. What do you have for children? Currently we have no programs for children but we are working diligently to improve on that. Children are welcome though and Pastor does encourage them in the actual church service. If you are called to Children's Ministry and are looking for an opportunity to serve in this aspect we would like to talk to you. Of course all Children's Ministry workers will be expected to submit to a criminal background check so we can protect our children, God's precious gifts to us.
What type of church is Living Word Interdenominational Church? Living Word Church is an bible centered, interdenominational, Spirit-filled church. We strive to cross over all denominational barriers and base our fellowship with one another on the Lordship of Jesus Christ in our personal lives. We strongly believe that relationship with Jesus is the "sole" way to heaven and that traditions and denominations will not matter when we stand before our Creator. Only the Grace of God will matter at that point. The blood of Jesus applies the Grace of God!
What kind of church government does Living Word Interdenominational Church have? Living Word Church allows for pastoral leadership in ministry matters, internal board control (trustees) in major financial matters. We currently are prayerfully asking God to send us the men and women to fill these positions of service.
What is appropriate to wear to church? Come as you are! The dress ranges from casual to professional. We have outlined in our constitution what we feel is acceptable and unacceptable in attire but are only interested in providing a family atmosphere based on the Holy Scriptures. We believe that it is more important that you are here than what you are wearing! |
