Teaching for Today:

I want to share with you today a simple fact, it is simply this.  You and I cannot give out of our lack!  This principle applies both physically and spiritually as well.  If you are in your car and a homeless person comes up to you and you do not have $5 in your pocket, you cannot give him anything.  You cannot give him out of your lack.  If a person comes to you weary and hurting asking for Spiritual guidance and prayer and you have not been spending time in the Word or prayer, then you have nothing to give them.  No words of life, to help them in their time of need.

You cannot draw water from a dry well, so what do you do when the well goes dry?  You dig deeper! Ephesians 1:17-19 -- "I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.  I pray also that the eyes of your heart be enlightened in order that you may know the hope that he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints and his incomparably great power for those that believe.  That power is like the working of his mighty strength."

My honest question to you today is "What have you gotten lately"?  Psalm 42:7 --"Deep calls unto Deep" Are you experiencing daily encounters with God?  If not why not?  Do you believe that God wants to talk with us daily?  I believe strongly that the grace for shallow superficial Christianity is over.  Jesus is coming back for a perfect bride and right now we are far from being desirable!  The grace for going deeper and higher has replaced the grace for shallowness.  I want to experience a whole new level, how about you?

1Corinthians 2:9-- "No eyes has seen, no ear has hear, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those that love him...".  I believe that this promise is not limited to when we go to heaven but we can experience it right now in our lives.  Any of us can draw as close to the Father as we desire it is solely up to us and how bad we want it.  It's time to draw near to God with our hearts filled with expectation!  How many of you would like to walk in to your prayer room and have God's presence already there waiting for you.  There really is nothing stopping us except our own lack of hunger.  Matthew 5:6--"Blessed are those that hunger and thirst after righteousness, they will be filled".  It is a promise he has made us.

God is going to do a new thing, look at Isaiah 48:6-8.  Some of us think we have seen everything, know everything and have done everything.  But God will not allow pride to stop his purposes!  These verses say that our creator has not stopped creating, no he will create a new thing!  Never seen of or heard of before!  Yes the end time church will experience the signs and wonders of the New testament church but I believe God is going to open up the windows of heaven and new things will invade the church!  So you cannot say "I knew that!" or "I have seen that!".  No to God be the Glory and Power Forever and Ever Amen!!!!  I love that, it excites me to know something new is happening, and the church will never be the same!

I believe the gap between the supernatural and natural world is closing and we are going to start seeing an unprecedented explosion of signs wonders, miracles and his Glory!

Will you seek God and allow him to prosper you in the Spirit as well as in your physical needs.  Or will you continue to attempt to give out of your lack.  If you even attempt to give at all.  It is time to  seek God earnestly with a renewed vigor and desperation.  You cannot give out of your lack, but you can give out of your abundance........my cup runs over my Lord!  Fill me with Rivers of Living Water so I can give out of your abundance which you so graciously bestowed over me!  Make that your prayer today and seek God with all your heart and soul.
