The Season of the Locust is Over
During a Wednesday night service a strong word of the Lord came over me and I found myself prophesying the following word. Take it for your self as it pertains to the church. Very interestingly enough the next day as I was researching I found that the prophets are saying that June will bring breakthrough for the church in every aspect. If you read this and feel it applies to you grab hold of it and do not let it go as it will happen soon and suddenly! The Word of the Lord says Deu 28:38 Thou shalt carry much seed out into the field, and shalt gather but little in; for the locust shall consume it. Deu 28:39 Thou shalt plant vineyards, and dress them, but shalt neither drink of the wine, nor gather the grapes; for the worms shall eat them. Deu 28:40 Thou shalt have olive trees throughout all thy coasts, but thou shalt not anoint thyself with the oil; for thine olive shall cast his fruit. Deu 28:41 Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them; for they shall go into captivity. Deu 28:42 All thy trees and fruit of thy land shall the locust consume. How much seed has your church sown? How many invitations to the lost, how many home visits to the hurting? We have carried much seed to the fields but have seen very little return for our efforts. Where are all the souls that came to church after 911? Why don’t they see what they really need is Jesus and to stay in church! We build vineyards of prayer and plant new trees or programs to meet peoples needs but they do not stay. We do not drink any wine we cannot lay up under the shadow of the tree. The locust has consumed them! The locust has eaten everything up, nothing remains. What I saw was an insect that was walking towards me and it had the face of a locust and I understood clearly what it was and what it stood for and I saw a large boot come down and smash it and I praised God but then I saw thousands of locusts coming towards me. A Holy Fire came down from heaven and burned them all up. But after the fire receded the land was barren from the plague of locusts.
Psa 78:40 How oft did they provoke him in the wilderness, and grieve him in the desert! Psa 78:41 Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel. Psa 78:42 They remembered not his hand, nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy. Psa 78:43 How he had wrought his signs in Egypt, and his wonders in the field of Zoan: Psa 78:44 And had turned their rivers into blood; and their floods, that they could not drink. Psa 78:45 He sent divers sorts of flies among them, which devoured them; and frogs, which destroyed them. Psa 78:46 He gave also their increase unto the caterpiller, and their labour unto the locust.
Have we forgotten the Lord? Have we turned back to our ways and tempted God calling it all church? Has God given our increase to the enemy, to the locust? Have we forgotten who God is and what he has done for us and the nation of Israel in the past? How can we change our fortune? What is going to happen now?
Then I heard the Lord say the following word. My children the season of the locust is over, I have allowed locust in your lives and they have taken from you. They have taken financially, they have taken your family members, and they have taken your health, they have taken those things that you hold so close and so dearly. But the season of the locust is over declares the Lord, I’ve called down my holy fire upon the land and watch as my fire destroys all your enemies. See how the land will grow in bounty, how the land will grow tall and green and fruitful. And it will not take long to grow because my own hands will till the garden sayeth the Lord. And your families will come back, and your finances will overflow and your health will be as one with me sayeth the Lord. For the season of the Locust is over! For this is my will.
I think it is important for you to understand that the locust have destroyed so much of the land for they not only ate everything but they multiplied and ate even more right out from underneath us. The Locusts have taken our families, they know better but refuse to serve the Lord and go to church. The locust has taken our health, so many sick seat in seats in the church. The locust have taken our finances, we pay our tithes some of us over and above the tithe yet we cannot prosper, we are always having to count our change to buy groceries. The locust has been allowed to take from us. But no more! No more sayeth the Lord God Almighty! One last thing to say is that if you feel this word is for you understand that because God’s own hands will till the soil the bounty that we will experience will not take long at all to experience! As he made the whole earth in just six days, what are a few issues in our lives!
