    In this teaching we want to take the time to share with you some scriptures that will help you understand who you truly are in Christ Jesus, so let us begin with a journey that is sure to liberate and substantiate who you are really.

    I believe that to become an overcomer in this world we live in, we must realize and reach our full potential on who we the believer is in Christ Jesus.  Not what the world says we are, or your mother or father growing up.  Not what family and friends state about you, not even preconceived notions made by you based on your past failures and /or experiences.  No, nothing but your true identity in Christ!  What God says about you. Your Identity in Christ, with him, in him, because of him, all him and nothing of you!  Is that not great news!?!?!?  That your identity in Christ the overcomer that he see's and declares you are, has nothing to do with you and everything to do with him!!!!!  Awesome!  That brings me hope, how about you?

    Lets us explore some scriptures and see what God declares that we are Amen?

Romans 8:1,2 -  Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,  because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.

1.)    We are free from the law of sin and death, did you hear that, let that sink in, say it to yourself till it sinks in!  You are free from the law of sin and death, hallelujah!  You have nothing to pay, so you do not have to be another Christian that lies down in condemnation and does nothing to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  It is not our righteousness, it is his!  You and I will never be righteous outside of the blood of Jesus,  you and I will never be sinless, but when God Almighty proclaims you the righteousness of God in Christ, who is going to say otherwise.  Hey let that sink in for a minute and let it free you.  You are free, free FREE!!!!  Praise God Hallelujah Jesus thank you for your Blood my Lord!

Ephesians 1:3 - Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

2.)    We are blessed with every Spiritual Blessing in Christ Jesus!  Blessed coming in and Blessed going out.  Blessed in the morning, blessed in the noontime, blessed when the sun goes down!  When we learn to relate to our true identity in Christ we need to start claiming his goodness, your blessings!  We need to stop letting the devil steal our blessings, amen?  Keyword here is "every", every what?  Every Spiritual Blessing, which means that God wants to bless you with everything he's got!  Let me tell you God has a lot, he owns the cattle on a thousand hills!  All his goodness, all his love, he wants to give you his all!  Are you receiving it?  If not why not?  Or maybe you are giving it away by allowing the devil to strip you of your inheritance, because of condemnation, fear or ignorance.  Nobody is perfect, nobody and when we realize the truth I am about to give you right then and only then will you truly sing for joy.  The most liberating truth is simply this.  God our father chooses to forgive you today, not only knowing every sin you committed in the past up to that point.  But here is the real example of the endless, unconditional love your father has for you.  Your Father, Abba, Daddy chooses to forgive you today already knowing what sins you will commit tomorrow!  His love knows no bounds, he wants to bless you with every/all Spiritual blessing from heaven.  Position yourself to receive this and see the difference in your life!

Ephesians 1:13-14 - And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,  who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession--to the praise of his glory.

3.)    We are marked as belonging to God Almighty through the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives!  You and I were bought with a price, a heavy costly price.  The eternal, divine, innocent blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  God wants to mark you "his" property, you are sealed in and with the presence of the Holy Spirit.  On you, in you and through you, his presence dwells inside you.  For all to see Spiritually:  Did you know demons and angels and anything else in the spirit realm can recognize that you are a new creation bought with a price and redeemed by the blood?  Why?  Because you were sealed with a mark that proves God's ownership of you.  The mark of the Holy Spirit in the spirit.  For all to see Physically:  Being marked and filled with the Holy Spirit should mean that you and I do not blend in with the crowd but instead crowds flock to us because of the signs, miracles and wonders that follow us.  The mark of God needs to be seen in the physical realm as well because then man can open their spiritual eyes.

    So rejoice in what God has done in you and who you truly are in Christ.  When you truly understand and apply these three simple scriptures you will be liberated to live the life that Jesus died on the cross for.
